How quickly the FDA is willing to approve 'BIG PHARMA' drugs which have no track record.

How quickly the FDA is willing to approve 'BIG PHARMA' drugs which have no track record. Not so surprising when you see how big the Pharmaceutical industry has become and the 'wind fall' profits are the driver, regardless of safety concerns. I mean, just sample the daily day-time TV commercials that take up as much as 20-30 minutes in an hour -- they are dominated by PHARMA who pay the advert 'going rate' without a blink of an eye. Yet, if you pay attention to those commercials, they have absolutely no value insofar as keeping consumers informed. They are 'Legal' CYA 'disclaimers' where 2/3 of the time of a commercial is spent enumerating the 'side effects' and in many cases they include 'death'. It is bizarre to say the least. I say keep these Drug Cartels off of the air. They are not helping the consumer. Instead they 'scare', 'mislead', and 'confuse'. But as always, "Ask your Doctor". :/ That is my take. Your thoughts? -- Dietrich
