Όμως, ο αντίλογος από άλλους επιστήμονες είναι αφενός πώς ό,τι συμβαίνει στα ποντίκια, μπορεί να μην έχει την ίδια επίπτωση στους ανθρώπους, κάτι που έχει φανεί και σε άλλες έρευνες με ζώα. Αφετέρου, ότι ακόμη κι αν αυξάνει τον κίνδυνο καρκίνου, το άτμισμα παραμένει λιγότερο επικίνδυνο από το κάπνισμα.
Οι ερευνητές, με επικεφαλής τον καθηγητή περιβαλλοντικής ιατρικής Μουν-σονγκ Τανγκ της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου της Νέας Υόρκης, που έκαναν τη σχετική δημοσίευση στο περιοδικό της Εθνικής Ακαδημίας Επιστημών των ΗΠΑ (PNAS), ανέφεραν ότι διαπίστωσαν βλάβες τόσο στο ίδιο το DNA των ποντικιών, όσο και στην ικανότητα του DNA να αυτο-επιδιορθώνει αυτές τις γενετικές βλάβες, προτού εξελιχθούν σε καρκινικές.
Αν αυτό επιβεβαιωθεί από νέες μελέτες, σημαίνει ότι τα ηλεκτρονικά τσιγάρα έχουν τον δικό τους κίνδυνο καρκίνου, δήλωσε ο δρ Ρόι Χερμπστ, επικεφαλής του τμήματος ιατρικής ογκολογίας του Κέντρου Καρκίνου του Πανεπιστημίου του Γιέηλ.
Η δημοφιλία των ηλεκτρονικών τσιγάρων οφείλεται σε μεγάλο βαθμό στην πεποίθηση ότι ο κίνδυνος καρκίνου των παραδοσιακών τσιγάρων οφείλεται κυρίως στις άλλες ουσίες που περιέχουν και όχι στη νικοτίνη, η οποία μπορεί να είναι εθιστική αλλά όχι καρκινογόνος. Όμως η νέα μελέτη παρέχει ενδείξεις ότι η εισπνεόμενη νικοτίνη και κάποια χημικά υποπροϊόντα της μπορεί να «πυροδοτήσουν» καρκίνο μέσω γενετικών μεταλλάξεων.
«Είναι η πρώτη ένδειξη που έχουμε ότι η ίδια η νικοτίνη μπορεί να είναι καρκινογόνος. Είναι κάτι ασφαλώς ανησυχητικό, που σίγουρα κάνει κάποιον να διστάσει στο να διαβεβαιώσει ότι τα ηλεκτρονικά τσιγάρα είναι ασφαλή και μπορούν να χρησιμοποιηθούν από όλους τους ανθρώπους χωρίς συνέπειες» πρόσθεσε ο Χερμπστ.
Οι ερευνητές εξέθεσαν στο εργαστήριό τους επί τρεις μήνες (ένα τρίωρο καθημερινά για πέντε μέρες την εβδομάδα) πειραματόζωα σε ατμό ηλεκτρονικού τσιγάρου, που περιείχε νικοτίνη σε ποσότητα ανάλογη με αυτή που περιέχει το ηλεκτρονικό τσιγάρο (δέκα μιλιγκράμ ανά χιλιοστόλιτρο ατμού).
Οι επιστήμονες διαπίστωσαν μετά το τρίμηνο βλάβες στο DNA των τρωκτικών στην καρδιά, στους πνεύμονες και στην ουροδόχο κύστη τους. Τις ίδιες γενετικές βλάβες βρήκαν και σε καλλιέργειες ανθρωπίνων κυττάρων από πνεύμονες και ουροδόχο κύστη, που εκτέθηκαν επίσης στον ατμό του ηλεκτρονικού τσιγάρου με νικοτίνη, με συνέπεια να μετατρέπονται ευκολότερα σε καρκινικά.
Θα ακολουθήσει μια πιο μακρόχρονη μελέτη για να διαπιστωθεί κατά πόσο όντως τα πειραματόζωα που εκτίθενται για καιρό στο άτμισμα με νικοτίνη, τελικά αναπτύσσουν καρκίνο ή καρδιοπάθεια.
Αναπάντητα ερωτήματα
Στο κρίσιμο ερώτημα αν το ηλεκτρονικό τσιγάρο είναι ασφαλέστερο από το παραδοσιακό, ο Τανγκ δήλωσε αδυναμία να δώσει βέβαιη απάντηση. «Δεν μπορούμε να ξέρουμε με βάση τα υπάρχοντα στοιχεία» δήλωσε και πρόσθεσε ότι χρειάζονται περισσότερες έρευνες.
Αλλοι επιστήμονες τόνισαν ότι το ερώτημα πρέπει να απαντηθεί μέσω μιας έρευνας που θα εκθέσει πειραματόζωα τόσο σε ατμό ηλεκτρονικού τσιγάρου όσο και σε καπνό παραδοσιακού τσιγάρου, για να συγκριθούν οι επιπτώσεις.
«Φαίνεται πως τα ηλεκτρονικά τσιγάρα έχουν μικρότερο κίνδυνο από τα παραδοσιακά. Αλλά πόσο μικρότερο, αυτό είναι άγνωστο», δήλωσε ο δρ ‘Αντονι ‘Αλμπεργκ, επικεφαλής του τμήματος επιδημιολογίας της Σχολής Δημόσιας Υγείας του Πανεπιστημίου της Ν.Καρολίνα.
Αν επιβεβαιωθεί ότι τα ηλεκτρονικά τσιγάρα είναι δυνητικά καρκινογόνα (κάτι που όμως μπορεί να πάρει χρόνια), τότε, όπως είπε ο Χερμπστ, θα αυξηθούν οι δημόσιες πιέσεις να μειωθούν τα επίπεδα νικοτίνης που περιέχουν και να αυξηθούν οι περιορισμοί στη χρήση τους.
Μια πρόσφατη μελέτη από τις Εθνικές Ακαδημίες Επιστημών, Μηχανικής και Ιατρικής των ΗΠΑ, που είχε αξιολογήσει τα ευρήματα περίπου 800 ερευνών, συμπέρανε ότι τα ηλεκτρονικά τσιγάρα μπορεί να ανοίγουν το δρόμο για να καπνίσουν οι έφηβοι στη συνέχεια παραδοσιακό τσιγάρο, αλλά από την άλλη φαίνεται να βοηθούν τους ενήλικους να κόψουν το κάπνισμα. Η μελέτη εκτίμησε ότι πιθανώς το ηλεκτρονικό τσιγάρο είναι λιγότερο επικίνδυνο, αλλά επεσήμανε ότι ελάχιστα πράγματα είναι προς το παρόν γνωστά για τις μακροπρόθεσμες συνέπειες των ηλεκτρονικών τσιγάρων στην ανθρώπινη υγεία.

Από τις χιλιάδες χημικές ουσίες του παραδοσιακού τσιγάρου, τουλάχιστον 70 είναι γνωστό ότι μπορεί να προκαλέσουν καρκίνο. Ο ατμός των ηλεκτρονικών τσιγάρων περιέχει πολύ λιγότερες τέτοιες τοξικές ουσίες, ενώ συχνά περιέχει μόνο νικοτίνη. Όμως κατά πόσο από μόνη της η νικοτίνη είναι καρκινογόνος, περί αυτού η διεθνής επιστημονική κοινότητα, όπως φαίνεται, θέλει χρόνο, εωσότου συμφωνήσει σε μια ετυμηγορία.

In 1976, children received 10 vaccines before attending school. Today they will receive over 36 injections. The American Academy of Pediatrics and the Center for Disease Control assured parents that it was safe to not only give these vaccines, but that they could be given at one time with complete safety. Is this true? Or are we being lied to on a grand scale?

The medical establishment has created a set of terms, which they use constantly to boost their egos and firm up their authority as the unique holders of medical wisdom--the mantra is "evidence-based medicine", as if everything outside their anointing touch is bogus and suspect. A careful examination of many of the accepted treatments reveals that most have little or no scientific "evidence-based" data to support it. One often repeated study found that almost 80% of medical practice had no scientific backing.

I find it interesting that there exist an incredible double standard when it comes to our evidence versus theirs. The proponents of vaccination safety can just say they are safe, without any supporting evidence what-so-ever, and it is to be accepted without question. They can announce that mercury is not only safe, but that it seems to actually increase the IQ, and we are to accept it. They can proclaim thimerosal safe to use in vaccines without their having ever been a single study on its safety in over 60 years of use, and we are to accept it.

Yet, let me, or anyone else, suggest that excessive vaccination can increase the risk of not only autism, but also schizophrenia and neurodegenerative diseases, and they will scream like banshees -Where is the evidence? Where is the evidence? When we produce study after study, they always proclaim them to be insufficient evidence or unacceptable studies. More often than not, they just completely ignore the evidence. This is despite the fact that we produce dozens or even hundreds of studies that not only demonstrate the link clinically and scientifically, but also clearly show the mechanism by which the damage is being done --even on a molecular level. These include cell culture studies, mixed cell cultures, organotypic tissue studies, in vivo animal studies using multiple species and even human studies. To the defenders of vaccine safety-our evidence is never sufficient and, if we face reality - never will be.

They attempted to say it was genetic, but geneticists were quick to respond that genetic disorders do not suddenly increase in such astronomical proportions. They then said it was because of better diagnosis, despite the fact that the diagnosis is obvious in virtually every case and that the criteria officially accepted for diagnosis has become more restrictive not less.

When trapped by a lack of evidence, defenders of a nefarious position resort to their old standby --the epidemiological study. Statisticians will tell you that the least reliable type of study is an epidemiological study because it is easy to manipulate the data so that the study tells you anything you wish it to. Every defense offered by vaccine defenders is based on such studies and never the actual science. Then they announce that the issue is settled and no further studies need be done. After the media has been informed that the issue has been settled, those who continue to present the evidence are considered kooks and the great unwashed ignorant.

...A considerable amount of evidence links excitotoxicity and seizures. In addition, a number of the newer antiseizure medications work by blocking glutamate receptors or preventing glutamate release. One of the central mechanisms linking excessive immune stimulation with seizures, as with vaccines, is the induced release of the excitotoxin glutamate and quinolinic acid from immune stimulated microglia and astrocytes.

One of the effects of chronic microglial activation, other than brain inflammation, is an elevation in brain glutamate levels. Studies have shown this can lead to chronic neurodegeneration and is suspected as a common mechanism associated with neuropathic viruses, such as the measles and borna viruses... ...Studies of autistic children have also shown elevated glutamate levels in their blood and spinal fluid.

...Parents must appreciate that those in positions of authority are lying to them. Most pediatricians think they are doing what is right, because they too are victims of years of propaganda by elite members in the CDC and American Academy of Pediatrics. Most truly believe what they are telling parents. They should wake up and join the fight to bring some sense to this insane policy.

According to Fortune: the levels influenza-like illnesses were reported to have now reached the same peak as the swine flu epidemic in 2009, thus far exceeding the majorly severe flu outbreak in 2003.

There have now been 40,414 recorded deaths in the U.S during the third week of 2018

People dying from pneumonia and influenza, which are at high levels in winter, are responsible for 1 of every 10 deaths last week and is likely to rise according to Anne Schuchat, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s acting director.

But the flu shot has changed, is only 10% effective, and 20% of the 63 children who have died of the flu were vaccinated. (One must read to the very bottom of mainstream media articles to read that cold hard truth.)

The CDC’s virologists are studying this year’s flu to determine if there are any other explanations for why it’s been so hard-hitting. But don’t expect anyone to look into the flu shot as a potential problem.

“We have a lot to learn still about influenza. It’s a wake-up call about how severe influenza can be, and why we can never let down our guard,” said Schuchat. “Unfortunately, more deaths are likely to happen.

Over the next few weeks, we do expect and it would make sense to see more pneumonia and influenza-related deaths. The people who are likely to die are already in the hospital.”

Many people have died of the flu after receiving the flu vaccine. It also appears that, contrary to CDC claims, rather than making flu symptoms less severe when the vaccination causes the flu, the shot may well make them more severe, and more lethal.

So not only can the flu shot directly cause the flu, as Dr. Oz and Piers Morgan demonstrated on national television to millions of people, it can also make the flu more lethal.

Not so surprising when you see how big the Pharmaceutical industry has become and the 'wind fall' profits are the driver, regardless of safety concerns.
